I worked at The Initiative as a Technical Game Designer on Perfect Dark from October 2020 until February 2022. Following this I started at Respawn Entertainment as a Technical Game Designer on the next game in the Star Wars Jedi series.
In regards to my time at The Initiative, unfortunately I am not able to talk about my work on the project in detail but generally my responsibilities included:
• Developing mission & environment features throughout concept, prototype and ready for use phases
• Creating generic library and editor features to support development across departments
• Improving designer workflows by identifying and reducing pain points while systematizing repeated patterns
• Directing designers to existing solutions for problems and working with engineers to provide better solutions to existing problems.
• Documenting existing tech modules and how to use them while being receptive to feedback and additional feature requests
